In 2013, a new mega party was formed in Nigeria. This party, the All Progressive Congress came as a result of a merger formed by the major opposition parties in Nigeria to try and rescue power from the PDP led government at the centre. The merger involves the ACN, led by Lagos' strong man of politics, Chief Bola Tinubu, the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), headed by former military ruler Muhammadu Buhari, as well as the All Nigeria People's Party (ANPP) and All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) led by Gov. Rochas Okorocha . And there were later joined by the new PDP faction to complete the puzzle.

The Africa of today seems to have lost track of her destination, and worst still, it has little or no knowledge of where she is coming from. It is so pathetic that her citizens prefer taking their chances on the Mediterranean sea rather than fight for the future of their respective nations.

At least 21 persons were killed and 70 civilians were injured as multiple bombers struck  Konduga local government area of Borno State yesterday, a Civilian JTF Source has disclosed. 
The suspected Boko haram bombers attacked a crowded Fish Market (Kasuwan Kifi) In Sabon Gari area of Kinduga township town at 9pm and detonated IEDs, killing 18 civiliansmostly children and injuring 70 people. Three suicide bombers also died  instantly during the attack.

"It happened at Tashan Kifi, the female bombers staged themselves in three different locations and detonated their IEDs randomly, killing 18 people mostly children and women, "we have evacuated 70 people with serious injuries to Maiduguri but we left many with light injuries at Konduga Specialist Hospital last night" Cjtf said.
Source at the State Specialist Hospital told reveal that 60 wounded persons were received last nights from Konduga blasts. This is coming on the heel of the military's decision to place a bounty on the head of the leader of the terrorist group.
